Fate of the Galaxy was created by its volunteer development team. This add-on works with that game but is independently developed and is not endorsed by its team.

FreeSpace Open is developed by the FreeSpace Source Code Project. This add-on uses its Lua scripting interface; it does not include an engine binary.

Star Wars and related names belong to Lucasfilm Ltd. and Disney. This add-on is an unofficial fan tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

The controller and reticle icon was created for this tool. The Windows companion uses Microsoft .NET Framework and the system XInput interface.

What is included

The download contains the new controller bridge, setup app, Lua add-on, icon, source code and documentation. It does not contain Fate of the Galaxy, FreeSpace Open, Star Wars game assets, music, or anyone's pilot files. The game and engine must be installed separately.

The original add-on code, companion programs and documentation are released under the MIT License. See credits and scope. The original Flight Control emblem has separate tool-only terms in ARTWORK-LICENSE.md. The MIT license does not cover the game, engine, or third-party names and material.
