Warp Mirror moves things from your Android phone to a computer next to it. You share a screenshot, a photo, a text snippet or a clip into Warp Mirror, open the address it shows in a browser on the computer, approve that browser on the phone, and download.
Nothing goes through the internet. The phone runs a small web page on your own Wi-Fi network and the computer reads from it directly. There is no account, no cloud copy and nothing to install on the computer.
What you need
- An Android phone running Android 10 or newer, with Warp Mirror installed.
- A computer with a modern browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on Windows, macOS, Linux or ChromeOS.
- Both on the same Wi-Fi network. If there is no Wi-Fi around, turn on the phone's hotspot and connect the computer to it.
Your first transfer
- Take a screenshot, or open a photo, and tap Share. Choose Warp Mirror. A short message confirms it was shared.
- Open Warp Mirror. It shows an address such as
http://192.168.1.42:48321and a QR code for it. - Type that address into the browser on your computer, or scan the QR code with a laptop camera.
- The computer shows a pairing QR and the words Phone approval required.
- On the phone, tap Scan pairing QR, point the camera at the computer screen, and tap Allow.
- The page unlocks. The newest item is shown large on the left; everything you shared is listed on the right. Click Download.
From then on the page refreshes by itself. Share something new on the phone and it appears on the computer within a couple of seconds.
When you are done
Click Disconnect on the computer, or tap Terminate server on the phone. Terminating the server signs out every browser at once. Clear shared screenshots deletes Warp Mirror's copies from the phone.
