Thank you,
Christian Ghisler.

Christian, thank you for making software that has been part of my life since my very first Windows Commander installation. Through the years, and through every computer I have owned, your work has stayed with me.

Total Commander is always the first software I install on any PC I own, including my handhelds. It is part of how I use a computer, and one of the tools I always come back to.

I used the shareware version for years before buying a license recently. The startup notice in Handheld Commander’s demo is an homage to that experience, and to the shareware tradition that gave me time to know a tool and decide when to support it.

Thank you for all those years, and for continuing to be part of my life.
